Community meeting to learn about the Lowell development code update project
Calendar Date:
Wednesday, September 28, 2022 - 6:00pm
Add to your calendar:
The public is invited to attend and participate in a community meeting to learn about the Lowell Development Code Update project and provide feedback.
Over the last two years, The City of Lowell, along with the Department of Land Conservation and Development’s TGM Assistance Grant, has been working on implementing the recommended code changes as was found in the Lowell Downtown Master Plan. The project also addresses several “housekeeping” updates to various portions of the Development Code and addresses minimum lot standards for residential zoning districts.
You have received this notice because a vital portion of the project is public outreach and engagement. The City of Lowell, DCLD and the consultant have prepared a draft version of the updated Development Code and is ready to share that draft with the community at-large to garner feedback from the community of Lowell. The City of Lowell will hold an open-house community meeting where the public and engage with City staff and review the proposed code updates.
Light refreshments will be provided.
