Special City Council Meeting and Work Session

A  Special City Council meeting will be held for the annual budget hearing and adoption. Members of the public are invited to attend to observe, ask questions, provide input and learn more about city operations. The concurrence of a majority of the members of the council present is required to decide any question before the council.

The regular Work Session will be held immediately following the Special City Council meeting. Work Sessions are held for the City Council to receive background information on City business and to give Council members an opportunity to ask questions and express their individual views.  No decisions are made, and no votes are taken on any agenda item. The public is invited to attend, however, there is generally no public comment period.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. A request for an interpreter for the hearing impaired or for other accommodations for persons with disabilities should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting to the City Clerk, Joyce Donnell, at 541-937-2157.
