Public Hearing Notice

The Lowell City Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Maggie Osgood Library, 70 North Pioneer Street, Lowell, Oregon, to discuss improvements to Lakeview Avenue from Moss Street to Pioneer Street. The City has received grant funds to renovate the street and make safety improvements. Currently, the street does not meet minimum width standards for a two-way street. The City Council would like to hear from stakeholders regarding their preference for either a one-way street (in the direction of Pioneer Street) or widening the street.

The meeting location is accessible to persons with disabilities. A request for an interpreter for the hearing impaired or for other accommodations for persons with disabilities should be made at least 48 hours before the meeting to the City Clerk, Joyce Donnell, at 541-937-2157.
